On the second day of the visit, the delegation attended a Symposium on “Oc-
cupational Health and Safety,” jointly organized by government, employers, and
workers’ representatives. Subsequently, meetings were held with Iranian Min-
ister of Labour Ahmad Miri and Sadeghi FAR, President of the Institute of La-
bour and Social Security. Discussions centered on international trade union ini-
tiatives and bilateral cooperation. Minister Miri emphasized the importance of
sharing experiences, while Sadeghi FAR provided information on their national
and international activities and expressed the Ministry’s willingness to partner
with ILC in future initiatives.
