ILC Board of Directors Convened in Istanbul
The Board of Directors of the International Labour Confederation (ILC) convened in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 11 November 2025. The meeting held significant importance for assessing the ILC’s global activities and adopting strategic decisions for the upcoming term.
The session was attended by ILC President Ali Yalçın, Secretary-General Hamza Öksüz, and members of the Board of Directors.
The agenda covered topics such as the confederation’s regional structures, new membership applications, international partnerships, and the 2026 work plan.
Following the meeting, ILC President Ali Yalçın stated:
“As the ILC, we are determined to strengthen the labour movement and expand solidarity for a fairer world order. This meeting in Istanbul demonstrates that our organization is preparing for the new term with a strong and forward-looking vision.”
The meeting concluded in a spirit of solidarity and cooperation, reinforcing the unity among member organizations.
