International Labour Confederation (ILC) at a Glance
Established in 2022 and officially launched following its inaugural General Assembly in 2024, the International Labour Confederation (ILC) marked a significant milestone with the “At a Glance” meeting, held as part of the International Congress on Labour, Digitalization, and Social Justice. The event took place in Türkiye, bringing together 200 trade union leaders representing 50 confederations, 3 regional labour organizations, and 41 countries.
The glance meeting of the ILC served as a platform for forging new partnerships and strengthening global solidarity. Declarations of intent for new memberships were received, accompanied by messages of support and goodwill from labour leaders around the world—further igniting optimism for the future of the confederation.
With growing participation from both countries and confederations, the ILC continues to expand its influence and reaffirm its commitment to promoting labour rights in the digital age.
