We Hosted the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions Delegation
The discussions focused on safeguarding trade union diversity, ensuring pluralistic representation, promoting social inclusion, and strengthening solidarity within the international labor movement. The importance of equal representation and participatory governance among ILC members from different regions was particularly emphasized.
Additionally, the ILC shared information about its upcoming programs and activities. Key areas of focus included egalitarian solidarity, social justice, trade union capacity building, regional cooperation, and global solidarity, with shared goals highlighted under each theme.

The GFJTU delegation reaffirmed their commitment to upholding and advancing the founding principles of the ILC, recalling the pioneering role they played in its establishment. Vice President Khaled Abu Marjoub emphasized that the ILC has brought a new breath to the international trade union movement by uniting organizations from diverse cultures and regions under a single umbrella.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties confirmed their mutual intent to collaborate on joint projects, reciprocal training programs, and regional justice initiatives.
