ILC Hosts The First Reception at ILO Building in Geneva
Notable attendees from various member confederations, including Mohamed Hamzeh from Iran’s WORKERSHOUSE, Apsorn Krissanasmit from Thailand’s SEWFOT, Mohd Effendy Bin Abdul Ghani from Malaysia’s MTUC, Vladimir Krismanovic from Montenegro’s SSCG, Ahmad Mustaqim from Indonesia’s KSPN, and Djoko Wahyudi from SARBUMUSI. The reception also saw participation from representatives such as OATUU Secretary General Arezki Mezhoud and ADS President Nilton Neco Souza. Additionally, China’s ACFTU, Algeria’s UGTA, Bahrain’s GFBTU, Saudi Arabia’s SNC, South Africa’s FEDUSA, Albania’s BSPSH, Laos’s LFTU, Iran’s CILCI, and Indonesia’s KSPSI and KSBSI.
During the reception, Dr. Ahmet Gök emphasized the importance of solidarity in the fight for workers' rights. Dr. Gök underscored the need for the global labor community to unite in reinstating love, peace, and justice, which have been eroded by the world’s dominant powers, and to leave a livable world for future generations.
